ANALOGIES BETWEEN NUCLEAR SYSTEMS AND LIQUID 3He

Several azalogies between nuclear systems and liquid 31ie are presented and discussed. The usefulness of the mean field approach in describing several static and dynamic properties of quantum liquids is emphasized. Using a Skyrme force to account for the interaction in liquid 3 ~ e we give predictions for the equation of state in bulk matter, fcr relevant surface properties (surface profile, clusters) an? for the liquid-gas transition.
